Along with this, summer vacation has also been announced from April 15 to June 13 in government and aided schools. At the same time, all government and non-government hostels have also been closed due to increasing infection.
The Education Department has issued three orders in this regard. According to the first order, all government and aided schools up to class VIII will have summer vacation from April 15 to June 13. At the same time, the teachers of these classes will be given leave from April 15 to June 9, but they will not leave the headquarters without permission till the completion of the board examinations.
According to the second order, classes I to VIII of private schools will be closed till April 30. However, online teaching of these classes may continue.
According to the third order, all government and private hostels have been asked to be closed with immediate effect. According to the order, the board examinations will be held as per the instructions of MP Board, CBSE and ICSE. During this time, students of hostels of class X and XII in government schools will be able to submit the answer sheets of pre-board examinations to the nearest school at home.
